Global Technical Committee (TEC) members mingled with the regional TEC and some partners of GWP West Africa on 10th to 12th April 2017 in Accra, Ghana. The occasion was a training on Collaborative modelling for decision support in Integrated Water Resources Management.
The annual report recaps major achievements of GWP West Africa during the year 2016. It highlights main results and gives trends for the next steps on activities, programmes, projects and initiatives.
"Advancing Non-Conventional Water Resources Management in Mediterranean islands and coastal areas: local solutions, employment opportunities and people engagement," is a regional conference organized in Malta on May 10-11 to celebrate the 10years of the NCWR Programme in the Mediterranean.
Aiming to make the youth’s voice heard in view of integrated water resources management, climate change adaptation and sustainable development, GWP-Med facilitates a youth dialogue entitled “Tunisia Youth mobilized for water and climate”. The dialogue started with a first workshop on 26th December 2017 and is continuing with a second workshop on the 25th May 2018, Tunis, Tunisia.
With the support of the GWP, the Water and Climate Network of Central African Youth Organisations (RECOJAC) was able to take part in the 7th edition of the African Water Week, which was held from the 29th of October to the 02nd of November 2018 in Gabon.
