El Fondo Verde del Clima (FVC) es el único órgano de los mecanismos de financiación de la Convención Marco de Naciones Unidas para el Cambio Climático (CMNUCC) que se dedica exclusivamente a abordar la crisis climática. El FVC tiene el mandato específico de promover un desarrollo impulsado por el país, resiliente al clima y bajo en carbono. Se espera que este se convierta en el principal canal a través del cual fluirá la financiación pública internacional para el clima a lo largo del tiempo.

The Constitutive General Assembly of the Platform of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) of the Mono Basin was held on Friday 8 December 2017 in Lomé, Togo. On March 27th, 2018, the Winward Islands Research and Education Foundation (WINDREF) became the new Host Institution (HI) of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C). Established in 1994, WINDREF is an independent non-profit organisation based at the St. George’s University (SGU) in Grenada. The organisation works to advance health and environmental development through multi-disciplinary research and education programmes. It also promotes regional and international collaborative relationships.
