The Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP), being implemented by Global Water Partnership Central Africa (GWP- CAf), has surpassed expectations and supported the production and delivery of National Adaptation Plan (NAP) in Cameroon.

The Summer School "When the stakes are high: Water Engineering and Global Diplomacy for Sustainable Cities. Decentralized Sanitation, Recycling and Zero-waste concepts" took place on 18.-28. June 2019 in Piran, Slovenia.
To ensure the sustainable management of water resources in the Sourou Basin (Volta affluent), the Joint Support Programme for Water Resources Management (PCA-GIRE) organized a workshop on 27 February 2018 on the development of a water management and development plan (Sage).
Upon the request of the High-level Experts and Leaders Panel on Water and Disasters (HELP) and with finding from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) Japan, Global Water Partnership (GWP) organised a consultation on the proposed HELP Principles of Investments and Financing for water-related disaster risk reduction in the Southern African region.
