Putrajaya, Malaysia | June 3, 2025 – Malaysia hosted a landmark regional workshop titled “From the Source to the Sea: Operationalising the 2040 Agenda” at the Zenith Hotel in Putrajaya.
The 5th Ordinary Session of the Ministerial Monitoring Committee (MMC) for Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in West Africa was held on 28 June 2024 in Abuja, Nigeria. This meeting was preceded by the 11th ordinary session of the Technical Experts Committee (TCE) from 25 to 27 June 2024.
In a bid to bolster climate resilience and address the growing impacts of climate change on water resources, the Government of Eswatini has initiated the development of three water-related concept notes. Collaborating with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy, the Department of Water Affairs, and the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Eswatini is set to receive technical support from the Global Water Partnership Southern Africa Partnership.

On September 26th, the inaugural meeting and academic exchange conference of the GWP China Groundwater Working Committee was held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province.
AMMAN - Sweden, the Union for the Mediterranean and the Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean, on Monday, 8 May 2023, inaugurated integrated technical solutions for sustainable agriculture in Salt Governorate. These involve reuse of treated wastewater from Wadi Shuayb Wastewater Treatment Plant for irrigation, after its tertiary treatment through constructed wetlands, with pumping powered by renewable solar energy, and climate-resilient planting.
GWP SAS in collaboration with the Cooperate Social Responsibility Team of Brandix Apparel Ltd. organised a field visit to the Brandix Essentials Rambukkana plant in Sri Lanka on 19 December 2022.
