Togo became a Party to the Water Convention in December 2021 and has drawn up a strategy and an implementation plan for 2022 in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
A workshop titled “Project Development Stakeholder Engagement, and pilot-level User Experience Survey on Data and Information Portal developed under 1st Readiness Project” was held from 23 to 24 May 2023 at Hotel Jie Jie Beach, Panadura, Sri Lanka.
The platform would facilitate youth interaction beyond their country of origin, extended to South Asia level and beyond. Through the platform, youth are encouraged to engage actively with various stakeholders, and to become pioneers for sharing of information, data and outputs and make them to be widely accessible for youth networks as well as the society.
To inspire action, amplify the voices of women in water and accelerate change, GWP and the #IWRMActionHub are launching a call for success stories and case studies that demonstrate how gender equality and inclusion have been improved in water management and climate resilience actions in the Pan African region.

The "Zero Drop" water resources protection program, implemented by Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med) in collaboration with the Municipality of Heraklion, with funding from The Coca-Cola Foundation and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, traveled to Heraklion, Crete to save 14.5 million liters of water annually by improving irrigation and water supply systems at five locations.
