Seven African, Middle Eastern and Asian countries have laid the foundation to becoming international models for water leadership after implementing a 3-year Global Water Leadership in a Changing Climate (GWL) Programme that helped them identify major challenges in water resources and services management as well as develop strategies to resolve them.

Zambian Youth representatives from Government agencies, private sector, civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, cooperating partners, and the media convened in Lusaka, Zambia on 31 July 2023 for a Youth Dialogue on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation. The Dialogue was organised by the Global Water Partnership (GWP) Zambia.

GWPEA is implementing the “Strengthening Drought Resilience for Smallholder Farmers and Pastoralists in the IGAD Region (DRESS-EA) Project in four Riparian countries of Djibouti, Kenya, Sudan, and Uganda.
