This time, the event explores how the design of Transboundary Water Agreements affects their performance and whether there are key ingredients that should structure these agreements.

The 9th session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP9) to the UN Water Convention concluded on 1 October after a week of sessions, all serving to review and propose action towards transboundary water cooperation. The project « Integrating flood and drought management and early warning for climate change adaptation in the Volta Basin (VFDM) » financed by the Adaptation Fund held the remaining two training sessions in the series of six in the Volta basin countries.
