Beneath the Drin River basin’s surface water bodies, lies one of the largest karstic areas in the world, comprised of tunnels, porous rocks, valleys and underground caves. The Drin basin’s groundwater system is a fascinating, yet still largely unexplored network, indispensable for human well-being.

The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank is an initiative of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and was first launched in 2019. CWP Benin with the water non-state actors framework (CANEA) started a media campaign aiming at raising awareness around the various laws of the water sector. After the vote and the adoption of the law on public hygiene, it is necessary to popularize it in order to make it known to the general public. Though every is meant to know, in reality very few including senior official know about the laws.
