Facilitated by the Central African Republic Country Water Partnership (CWP-CAR) , Central African Republic is the first country in the region to hold a stakeholder consultation workshop to validate the national monitoring report on indicator 6.5.1 of the Sustainable Development Goals. The 2nd International Conference on "Water, Megacities and Global Change" - also known as EauMega 2020 - takes place at UNESCO HQ in Paris, France, on 1-4 December.
To effectively and efficiently implement WACDEP-G and support its contribution to the broader AIP agenda, GWP-CAf is recruiting a young professional to provide technical and program management support to the regional secretariat in Yaounde, Cameroon. The Young Professional will work under the direct supervision of the Regional Executive Secretary, and in close collaboration with the incoming Programme Manager for WACDEP-G. Duties will include international travel and representation.

In an energetic and interactive Facebook Live, we spoke with Lindsey Aldaco-Manner, President of the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW), as well as Maitreyi Koduganti Venkata, Coordinator of the Water Governance Group at the Water Youth Network (WYN).
In 2020 with the onset of the global COVID-19 Pandemic, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) was motivated to find a novel and creative way of educating Caribbean kids about the critical value of water, the various water issues that occur throughout the Caribbean region and how they could be empowered to become Water ChangeMakers.
The best way to tackle complex issues such as water resources management is for all affected stakeholders to work together. Multi-stakeholder processes are at the heart of Integrated Water Resources Management and as such are a cornerstone of the intervention logic of the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme.
