CWP Guinea organized a conference on IWRM on February 4, 2019 at Mahatma Gandhi University to raise awareness among students on this approach to manage sustainably water resources.
The Project: "Conservation of Ecosystems and International Water Resources Management of the Mano River Union" held its 2nd meeting of the Multisectoral Technical Committee (MTC) on Thursday 21 February 2019 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
Eau Vive Togo has trained women and local development committees on the promotion of good hygiene and sanitation practices and environmental protection from 26 to 28 February 2019 in Danyi-Apéyéme (Togo). The activity is carried out as part of its project to support young people in protecting the environment, water and soil (PAJPEES).
About forty young people, members of the beneficiary’s associations of the project #TonFutureTonClimat and members of the local development committees were trained on the good management of an association including proper keeping of administrative and accounting documents, the preparation of texts of an association and the sale of agricultural products.

Prof Deepthi Wickramsinghe, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and a Member of South Asia Regional Steering Committee was one of the three equal winners of a competition launched seeking the best exploratory projects that demonstrate innovative approaches as solutions for water and sanitation, held at the 1st World Summit on “Leaving No One Behind”.
