GWP China has launched a new bilingual website, offering the latest GWP news from the region. Now all 13 GWP Regional Water Partnership websites share the same platform and branding.
This training is the follow up of the previous session held in 2015, and is part of WASH activities in schools, a project implemented by the NGO Protos and the CWP under the MYP and CASCADE programs. It is part of the promotion of Water Lawyers Clubs (through the creation and animation of School Health Committees) for an education for the adoption of best practices in the rational management of water, hygiene and sanitation in schools based on the peer approach.

A series of activities called The Great Walk for Water initiated by some NGOs will be held from 22 February to 22 March 2015 to draw the World attention on the future "disappearance" of Lake Chad, if nothing is done. This great walk for water is a media caravan, actions and multidisciplinary activities to advocate for an increased attention on the situation of National and International Watercourses in Africa in general and especially the Lake Chad.
The Young Water Leaders’ Summit (YWLS) is one of the key programmes of Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) scheduled to be held from 10 to 12 July 2016 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
The Mali CWP organized on 29 October 2015 a meeting of drought management stakeholders at national to set up the platform in the frame work of the Integerated Drought Management Project (IDMP).
The meeting brought together about twenty people from the CWP Mali, local NGOs, meteorological services, civil society and government departments in charge of the issues of water resources, agriculture and climate change.
GWP held a press briefing at the UNFCCC COP20 conference in Lima, Peru, on Tuesday 9 December. The delegates reiterated the GWP network’s firm support of a dedicated water goal on the post-2015 development agenda. The Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) was highlighted as an important tool to combat water related problems in connection with climate change.
What does GWP do? It works for the sustainable management of the world’s water resources, from local to global level. We are “ambassadors” for water, speaking up for the resource itself, stepping in and facilitating change that will improve the way water is managed and used.
