Mékrou Project, delay in studies not worrisome

The elaboration of the study on the "Identification of development priorities in the Mékrou transboundary basin" in each country (Benin, Burkina and Niger) with workshops for the restitution and validation has been delayed because of some practical issues. The contracts were signed with some delay with each consultants and some national issues linked to the political and social situation couldn’t allow work to go on correctly.

Identification of Water Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Approaches for Bago River

In Bago River, water has been used for Agriculture, Industries and Tourist attraction which means the quality of water is important to be used for human and other living things.
Water of good quality should be clear and free from harmful substances and can be used by humans and other living things.
Myanmar Water Partnership and Global Water Partnership-Southeast Asia together with government organizations, University, NGOs, INGOs (total 55 participants) gathered to discuss about water quality monitoring and evaluation aspects in Bago River on 15th September 2015 at Irrigation Technology Center, Bago.

Solar energy installations definitely fixed for GWP / WA.

After a year of operation to the satisfaction of the solar installations, and in accordance with the contract, a general review of equipment installed was made, followed by a final acceptance on December 23, 2015 by the Executive Secretary.
