Increase risk knowledge through the risk maps and climate scenarios developed, to get the involvement and engagement of stakeholders through an improved awareness of disaster risk assessment and risk modelling for floods and droughts in the Volta basin, this is the general objective of the series of 6 national workshops organized in the Volta basin riparian countries throughout the month of April 2022.

The 2022 Regional Days was the 1st since COVID-19 pandemic that held in a hybrid format. As part of the implementation of the Mekrou phase 2 Niger project's capacity-building plan, a training course on the manufacture and use of improved stoves was held on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 April 2023 in Belandè. The two-day course brought together some 20 participants from Boumba, Falmey and Belandè.

The delegation led by the Secretary General of the MH/A, Mr. Maman Moussa included the Director of Legislation of the MH/A, Mrs. Ibrahima Naleyni Nana Mariama and the Permanent Secretary of the National Action Plan for Integrated Water Resources Management (PANGIRE) of Niger, Dr. Sandao Issoufou.
