GWP-Central Africa (GWP-CAf) is happy to present its 2021 Activity report (french only), highlighting key achievements from its activities geared at ensuring water security at the regional and country level (Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Sao Tomé and Principe, and Chad).
The first United Nations conference on water since 1977 will be held at the United Nations HQ from 22-24 March 2023. This will be a watershed moment for the sustainable development community as a whole, and GWP, as a leading authority on water governance, is committed to playing an active role in advancing the global water agenda.
Under the GEF/UNEP MedProgramme, a Nexus Policy Dialogue for Lebanon based on a Nexus Assessment, led by GWP-Med aims to promote tangible solutions contributing to the security of water, energy and food resources, while protecting valuable ecosystems and their functions.
GWP-Med and Reckitt’s Finish continue, for the 3rd consecutive year, their successful mission to disseminate water saving practices among island communities with limited water resources.
Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSAF) led by Vice Chair Eng. Munashe Mvura, attended a Diplomatic Corps working luncheon on July 26, hosted by the Chief Executive Officer of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) Ms. Nardos Bekele- Thomas.
