A two-day workshop on the Climate-Land-Energy-Water (CLEWs) modelling framework and its use in the Nexus Assessment of the Drina River Basin took place on 8,9 July 2021. The purpose of the workshop was to familiarise participants with the Climate, Land, Energy and Water systems (CLEWs) nexus methodology, used to quantitatively assess the energy-water interlinkages within the Nexus assessment of the Drina River Basin. By providing an overview of general concepts, tools used and hands-on experience on model building, the workshop opened the box of the modelling analysis to the audience and laid the ground for local uptake of the model infrastructure.

A consultation on priority issues in the water and sanitation sector was held on Friday 19 November in Conakry. Organized by the OECD Water-Sanitation Taskforce and the Arab Coordination Group (ACG), in partnership with the Ministry of Energy, Hydraulics and Hydrocarbons of Guinea, this meeting is a framework for stakeholders in the water and sanitation sector to express their views on the real issues and on the setting of several priorities in these areas.
The WACDEP-G regional Project manager, Mr. Yaovi KOGBE made a follow-up mission in Cotonou, Benin from 9 to 12 November 2021. The mission helped in preparing the final activities of the year to be implemented in the country.
From Monday, October 25 to Saturday, November 05, 2021, the Country Water Partnerships of Senegal (PNES) in partnership with UNESCO and the Ministry of Water and Sanitation through its directorates, the DGPRE and the DPGI, organized a training session leading to a certificate on drone piloting. This session was held, alternating between theory and practice.

The consultation framework of Non-State Actors in the water and sanitation sector (CANEA) organized a media café as part of the celebration of 2021 World Toilet Day (WTD). The Media Café on November 19 was organized under the theme "What levers for Benin's march towards SDG 6?”.
As part of its implementation plan, the African Center of Excellence for Water and Sanitation (C2EA) has planned the organization of short training sessions on IWRM for the benefit of technical executives from Benin's mayors, prefectures and private companies working in the water sector.
