A four-member delegation of the Mono Basin Authority (MBA) had a working visit to the GWP-WA Regional Secretariat on March 17, 2021 including the Executive Director, Mr. Nicolas Dadja GNAKPAOU, the Deputy Director, Mr. Razaki SANOUSSI, the two country Focal Points, Mr. Phillipe Armand ADJOMAYI and Mr. Wohou AKAKPO respectively for Benin and Togo.
On World Water Day, the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme is announcing a major upgrade and new resources on its website to better share the challenges and opportunities countries face when implementing Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). Yet there are still massive gaps in the employment of women in the water sector, particularly for jobs that are onsite or require a strong science background. On 22 September, GWP collaborated with Community of Women in Water (CWiW) and World Bank Equal Aqua on a virtual event that discussed how to support women to join and thrive in the water sector.
