The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) with support from the Global Water Partnership (GWP), has produced a new case study entitled “Mainstreaming Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) to Build Climate Resilience in the Caribbean Water Sector.”

The United Nations World Water Day (WWD) is celebrated on March 22^nd each year. This year’s (2016) WWD theme is “Water and Jobs.”

In the run-up to World Water Day (WWD) on March 22nd, 2016, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) joins the entire Global Water Partnership (GWP) Network today in launching GWP’s 20^th anniversary video.

The United Nations’ (UN) International Women’s Day is observed on March 8^th each year. It’s a day to “celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women.”

The Global Environment Facility-funded Caribbean Regional Fund for Wastewater Management (GEF CReW) Project is convening its final regional capacity building workshop at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from 15 – 19 February 2016.

Global Water Partnership-Caribbean’s (GWP-C’s) partner, the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) will host its 2016 Conference and Exhibition from October 24^th – 28^th, 2016 in Trinidad. 

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) under its Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) is developing a regional Caribbean Climate Resilience and Water Security Investment Programme and Financing Plan (CReWSIP). More information on the CReWSIP is available here.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is hosting a three (3) day national training workshop in St. Lucia on December 7^th – 9^th, 2015 entitled “Building Climate Resilience in the Caribbean Water Sector: An Integrated Water Resources Management Approach.”

#COP21 commonly referred to as the United Nations Climate Change Conference is the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). #COP21 kicked off on November 30^th and runs until December 11th, 2015 in France. 

The Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA), the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and the United Nations Environment Programme Caribbean Regional Coordinating Unit (UNEP CAR/RCU) through the Global Environment Facility - funded Caribbean Regional Fund for Wastewater Management (GEF CReW) Project hosted the 11^th Annual High Level Forum (HLF) of Caribbean Ministers responsible for Water on August 27^th and 28^th, 2015 in Miami, Florida.
