The project was launched by the Minister in charge of MESTI, Hon. Mahama Ayariga while stakeholders contributed knowledge through information sharing towards effective implementation of the project. Participants at the meeting included Traditional leaders, representatives of civil society, Heads of departments under the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) involved in the project, the private sector and members of the media. Also present was the UN resident Coordinator and the Regional Technical Advisor of the Adaptation Fund Project, UNDP and other development partners.
