Water Agent 003 project progresses to its final phase – testing a new water educational tool in schools in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.

On 18 November, a virtual meeting is held to present the findings of two surveys that were conducted to evaluate what the impact of the Governance and International Water Law Training has been, and to discuss the proposed new approach to sustain this initiative in the future.

Indonesia Water Coalition was formed with a mission to improve water management in Indonesia. Following several discussions, the charter was signed through an online ceremony on the 29 January 2021. To show the coalition’s commitment, a number of events successfully held.

The Development of Humane Action (DHAN) Foundation is a professional development organisation that was founded on 2 October 1997 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Its collaboration with GWP dates back as far as 1999. This article gives a short overview of the Foundation and its engagement with GWP.

Dr. Atie Tri Juniati MT is a Senior Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Study Programme of the Faculty of Engineering at the Pancasila University in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has been involved in many GWP Southeast Asia activities over the years, and she is also a current member of the regional Steering Committee. In this interview, she describes Pancasila University and its partnership with GWP, which began in 2006.

The countries of the world have jointly committed to achieve the SDGs through the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, including the SDG #6 on water and sanitation, central to achieve the other SDGs, particularly related to agriculture, energy, disaster resilience, health, environment and ecosystems, economic growth, and SDG #16 on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.
