Before the International Children’s Day (June 1st), 15 teams of 13-19-year-old young people convened in Nanjing of Jiangsu Province to share their inventions with experts and the public and to realize their innovative solutions to improve water and environment in and around their schools at the Junior Water Prize (JWP) Final.

A consultation meeting on Learning Deltas Asia Initiatives (LDAI), an Inter-Regional Collaboration between Global Water Partnership (GWP) South Asia and South East Asia was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 26 to 28 February 2017 with the participation of delegations of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
The UNFCCC climate talks - the 24th Conference of the Parties and 14th Session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol - more commonly known as COP24, is held in Katowice, Poland, on 2-14 December. GWP is present and involved in a number of events.
On the occasion of its 15th Anniversary and the launching of the SDG Water Preparedness Facility Program in Hungary, GWP Hungary invited partners, donors, collaborators and supporters to an Anniversary meeting, which was held on the 20th of November 2017 in Budapest.
World Water Day (WWD) is commemorated on 22 March every year. This year’s theme was “Leaving no one behind”. GWP and its Partners worldwide supported the theme by arranging a wide range of activities. The 48th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting will take place on 23-26 January 2018 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. More than 2,500 participants from over 100 countries will participate in over 400 sessions.
On Thursday, September 27th, 2018, the entire GWP Network will embark on its first-ever “Follow-the-Sun” GWP Network Meeting. Partners from 46 countries will go LIVE from all corners of the world.
