The workshop had over 80 participants which was chaired by Mr. Liu Shiyi, Deputy Secretary General/ Deputy Coordinator of GWP China Hunan followed by welcome speeches by Mr. Zhang Zhengquan, Chief Engineer, Hunan Provincial Water Resources Department, Mr. Zheng Rugang, Coordinator, GWP China and Angela Klaeusen, Senior Network Officer of GWPO. Afterwards, Mr. Peng Pengfei, Deputy Coordinator of GWP China Hunan reported annual work in 2013.
Under the theme, the presentations were made by Prof. Liu Shukun and Prof. Wang Jianhua from China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, Prof. Zuo Qiting from Zhengzhou University, Associate Prof. Gao Cheng from Hohai University and Mr. Zhuo Zhiyu from Hunan Provincial Water Resources and Hydropower Design and Research Institute .
