Around 200 participants including local governmental officials, water managers and engineers attended the event. Prof. Hao Wang, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Acting Chair of GWP China participated in the workshop and gave a keynote report on water –eco civilization progress development.
After the workshop, Prof. Hao Wang, Mr. Rugang Zheng and Prof. Yunzhong Jiang had a discussion with Mr. Weide Lai, Deputy Director General, Water Resources Department of Fujian Province on the capacity building and institutional development of GWP China Fujian. Mr. Lai committed to render the continuing support to GWP China Fujian and its internal development.
