Amongst the announced projects is the Cameroon selected project “Ensuring access to safe water resources” by New Generation for Christ, whose implementation will be supported by the Global Water Partnership Central Africa (GWP-CAf). In line with this, the regional secretariat represented by the communications officer took part in an online meet and greet session with all the winning project leads on September 29th. During this meeting, each project lead presented his/her project, gave updates on level of implementation, and discussed challenges encountered so far.
To build the capacity of the youths on different topics like gender, Monitoring and Evaluation, Communication etc, GWP and ISW will be organizing capacity building trainings starting in October. The implementation of the ensuring access to safe water resources project is also set to begin in mid -October.
